Josh Scowen’s cracking goal against his former club took QPR 10 points clear of the relegation zone. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in their 1-0 win over Barnsley.
Produced a stunning save to deny Adam Hammill late in the first half in a deserved clean sheet.
A solid display on his return to the side; Perch looked a little rusty in the early exchanges, but he grew into the game well.
A strong performance from the QPR captain, who thwarted a number of Barnsley attacks.
An excellent performance from Lynch, typified by a stunning block in the final five minutes to deny a certain Barnsley goal.
QPR’s standout defender this season was shifted to left wing-back, but was able to continue his impressive form. His engine has perhaps been overlooked in the midst of his usual gusty performance, but his ability to get up and down the pitch was valuable throughout the match.
A good performance on his return to the side, despite missing a late chance as the R’s tried to see out the game with 10 men.
Booked very early on, but that didn’t deter Cousins from putting himself about when needed. A good all-round display before eventually being withdrawn.
Not the midfielder’s most impressive performance, with little opportunity for him to show his talent. But he contributed to a determined QPR midfield.
Capped a fine performance with a goal against his former club; a 25-yard curling effort. A fine way to score his first for the club.
Lively in the final third, but also chased back impressively on a couple of occasions to thwart the visitors. Washington should’ve secured all three points late in the game, but Barnsley keeper Nick Townsend was on hand to deny him.
A decent showing by the target man, but he was never really a goal threat and he was sacrificed after Ryan Manning was sent off soon after the midfielder had come on as a substitute.
Lively after coming on. He provided a much-needed attacking threat on the break for QPR as they tried to see out the game.

See Conor Washington is writing husband own ratings again. Should be a negative score. Worst player in the Hoops for a long time, makes Bosingwa look good.
