Idrissa Sylla has been left out of QPR’s squad for their pre-season trip to Germany because an issue with his work permit means he cannot travel.
Rangers say Sylla’s previous permit expired within three months of their travel date and that, while he does have a new work permit in place, the recent expiry of his replaced permit means he cannot travel.
As expected, Luke Freeman, Jordan Cousins and Sean Goss, who all missed Saturday’s friendly at Peterborough, are in the squad.
But Grant Hall, who missed Peterborough game because of tendonitis and hoped to return, has not been included.
Manager Ian Holloway considered leaving Massimo Luongo, Pawel Wszolek and Yeni Ngbakoto in London because their international commitments mean they have had a shorter summer break, but all three have travelled.
So too has teenage American centre-back Giles Phillips, who recently joined the club and featured at Peterborough.
Rangers will play FC Union Berlin on Saturday and Lokomotive Leipzig on Sunday.

we really are a bunch of cowboys, we can't even make sure our players documentation is in order,so Sylla stayes at home, good bonding excersise
IH obviously believes that Sylla doesn't work hard enough for the team. He looks like a natural goalscorer to me which is nice to have in the squad tho'. We'll end up with a team of grafters but no finishers if we're not careful.
