QPR had to settle for a point after a late penalty denied them victory against Bristol City at Loftus Road. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 1-1 draw.
Outstanding afternoon. Needed a strong left hand to block an early goalbound effort from Korey Smith and needed sharp reflexes to turn aside a close-range header from Bobby Reid. Also alert in dealing with a deflected drive and a free-kick.
Had little to do defensively for a lot of the afternoon and often found himself in advanced positions – at least until the visitors’ late onslaught.
Snuffed out the little danger City offered before the break and helped Rangers almost survive a bombardment in the final 15 minutes amid the physical aerial presence of Aden Flint.
A danger in the opposition box again after last week – this time forcing the own goal error following Luke Freeman’s perfectly-flighted free-kick
Enjoyed plenty of opportunities to get forward and pressure City’s inexperienced left-back Lloyd Kelly. Almost bagged the second goal of the afternoon for the R’s with a low shot Frank Fielding did well to keep out.
Several tidy steals and lay-offs from the midfielder during the best Rangers spells, but his influence waned as the game wore on.
Excellent against his old club – particularly from set pieces. There were some boos from the fans who used to laud him, but he gained revenge by setting up Rangers’ goal. Always tidy in possession.
Got in some crunching tackles early on to establish his presence. Great commitment and desire to drive Rangers forward, as usual.

Gave City’s on-loan striker Jonathan Leko more worries than the other way around, but had to clear one shot off the line during a more testing second half.
A very quiet afternoon. Struggled to make an impact and unsurprisingly made way for the altogether livelier Conor Washington after 64 minutes.
Industrious but starved of the clear openings he thrives on.
Gave City some problems after coming on midway through the second half, without ever looking much of a goal threat.

I am sorry but Conor Washington is not Championship standard.
