QPR offer Bowler long-term deal and reject latest Everton bid

QPR have offered Josh Bowler a new three-year contract and have rejected Everton’s latest bid for the teenage winger.

Everton returned with an improved offer after having previous one turned down.

That offer has also now been rejected, but Rangers accept they are likely to lose Bowler, 18, if his head is turned by Premier League interest in him.

He is under contract at Loftus Road until 2018, having signed an 18-month deal in February this year, and QPR are ready to sell if he is unwilling to commit his long-term future to the club.

Bowler was on Fulham’s books prior to being signed by the R’s in 2013.

He made his senior debut when he came on as a substitute against Norwich on the final day of the season
