QPR midfielder Field suffers knee injury in training
QPR midfielder Sam Field could miss the start of the new season after suffering a knee injury in training.
Field, 23, will have a scan later on Thursday.
He joined the club on a permanent deal this summer, having spent the second half of last season on loan from West Brom.
Field is looking to make a fresh start after being troubled by injury problems prior to his move to Rangers.
But he now appears to be facing another spell on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, QPR have given Swansea City permission to speak to John Eustace about the manager’s job at the Welsh club.
The Rangers assistant boss is in the frame to take over following the departure of Steve Cooper.

Lets hope this is the first and last injury for the squad for a while. It does seem to happen regularly over the past season or so. New player signed – new player injured.

Here we go again. The Baker has a knack of signing players who are injury prone or who get injured in training shortly after signing for the club. When will QPR get a manager to replace a baker?
