Leeds came from behind to beat QPR at Elland Road. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 2-1 defeat.
Made a couple of smart saves but his distribution was awful in the first half.
The 36-year-old’s fitness was evident again as he effortlessly got up and down the pitch, covering plenty of ground. Defended well, although he received lots of help from Pawel Wszolek.
The handball decision against him for the penalty which led to Leeds’ winning goal seemed harsh, but the German paid the price for consistently being caught the wrong side of his man. Kemar Roofe easily evaded him for the equaliser.
Also indecisive at times, but won his fair share of challenges and kept his composure when Leeds were all over Rangers in the early stages.
Solid as always and almost grabbed an equaliser with a late effort which was well saved.
Produced very little going forward but does deserve credit for some sterling defensive work in support of Rangel.
Poor in the early minutes, when he sloppily gave the ball away on a couple of occasions. But he did well for the rest of the first half before picking up an ankle injury which led to him being substituted at half-time. He was missed in the second half.
Battled admirably in a tough midfield contest in which the odds were very much stacked against him. Covered lots of ground and did a very good job for the team.
Neat and tidy, but Leeds had done their homework and put a lot of effort into keeping the Rangers playmaker quiet. Freeman was always picked up regardless of whether he stayed out wide or drifted inside.
Tried hard to make things happen and had a lively spell in the first half. But overall he was unable to make much of an impact before going off in the second half.
Took his goal brilliantly, pouncing on Pontus Jansson’s hesitation and coolly firing past keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell. In general his performance was excellent, with his movement and pressing from the front always a problem for the home side. However, he missed a great chance to equalise after being set up by Rangel.
Replaced Cameron for the second half and picked up a booking within seconds of the restart. Unconvincing after that.
Offered some pace after replacing Wszolek but was unable to seriously threaten the home defence.
Sent on for the final 13 minutes against his former side, who comfortably dealt with the aerial threat.
