Mark Warburton praised Bright Osayi-Samuel after QPR’s 1-1 draw at Derby.
Osayi-Samuel caused Derby major problems and won the penalty which led to Ebere Eze equalising from the spot.
R’s boss Warburton said: “He’s a very talented boy. He hasn’t come through an academy system, so he’s got much to learn, but he’s got the raw attributes to be a very talented player.
“He’s got blistering pace, desire and a resilience about his play as well. The more he can learn the better he will be.”
Rangers are now without a win in their past seven matches and are still yet to keep a clean sheet this season.
But they responded well to the 4-0 home defeat against Nottingham Forest in midweek in which they conceded three late goals.
“The point is more than deserved,” Warburton said.
“After a very poor last 10 minutes on Wednesday, it was a very professional response.
“The players were angry. You read the reports: ‘thrashed 4-0’ – we were 1-0 down with 10 to go.
“The last 10 minutes were unacceptable and we lost three goals. But the players were frustrated and angry and you saw their reaction today.”
