QPR are giving a trial to Aston Villa defender Easah Suliman.
The centre-back, 21, played for Rangers’ development side in a match against Coventry at Loftus Road on Friday afternoon.
The visitors won 2-1. QPR’s goal was a penalty by Lewis Walker.
Suliman, who is of Pakistani descent, is the first player of Asian origin to captain an England team – he has represented the country at various age levels up to Under-20.
He played in every game of England’s Under-19 European Championship-winning campaign of July 2017 and scored in the final against Portugal.
Suliman has made just one senior appearance for Villa but has played first-team football during loan spells at Cheltenham, Grimsby and Dutch club FC Emmen.
