QPR picked up a deserved point at Ipswich, where they played the final few minutes with 10 men after Josh Scowen was sent off. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 0-0 draw.
Can usually be counted upon to make at least one vital and save – and Smithies delivered for Rangers again with a smart stop to deny David McGoldrick.

Aside from odd mishap as Rangers were defending nervously when under some pressure, Baptiste’s overall performance was excellent. He used his experience to great effect and won countless challenges.
Caught out on a couple of occasions and was beaten for pace too, suggesting he hasn’t quite recovered his sharpness following his recent lay-off. But he made amends by winning plenty in the air and on the ground – and there is no doubt Rangers look more solid at the back with him in the team.

Had another terrific game, one of the highlights being a perfectly-timed block to deny Joe Garner.
His final ball was lacking at times, including when his cross evaded Idrissa Sylla in the second half. But the Pole was tireless on the right and played a substantial part in his team getting a point.

Had an excellent game before being sent off for a second yellow card late on. Gave Ipswich nothing in midfield.
Also worked hard, but did seem to tire somewhat in the second half.
Made the most of an opportunity to impress in his preferred central position. Was asked to get forward whenever possible and did so, interchanging nicely with Luke Freeman in support of Sylla. An encouraging performance.

Solid and unspectacular on the left as always. Was denied by a good save in the first half.
Deployed in a more advanced role and performed well, picking up space cleverly and linking play.
A somewhat frustrating afternoon in front of goal for the striker, summed up by him being just unable to get to crosses from Wszolek and Cousins. But Sylla worked very hard indeed up front and got through a fair amount of defensive work, both in terms of pressing from the front and winning headers in his own box.
