Fans on Twitter react to Caulker exit
Some Celtic fans on Twitter have been calling for their club to snap up Steven Caulker following his departure from QPR.
Caulker, who played under Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers at Swansea, has previously held talks with the Glasgow club about a potential move.
Celtic have agreed the signing of defender Marvin Compper from RB Leipzig, but some Bhoys fans would also like to see Caulker arrive at Parkhead.
Steven Caulker is seven years younger than Compper, has bags of potential, has played for more and far bigger clubs than him and is also eligible to play in Europe this season. He’s also a free agent. I find it very strange why Rodgers has went for Compper instead of Caulker

He actually turns 26 tomorrow and you wonder whether the release means a move is pending, Celtic seems logical (reuniting with Brendan Rodgers). Tweeted before the most recent game against QPR that Caulker would be one of the few I’d have from their squad.
