QPR have recalled goalkeeper Joe Lumley from his loan spell at Blackpool after Matt Ingram was ruled out of Rangers’ game against Birmingham City this weekend.
Lumley, 23, was due to see out the season at Blackpool, where he has made 18 appearances and kept nine clean sheets.
However, Ingram sustained a clinical concussion during QPR’s defeat at Brentford and protocol requires a seven-day progressive process to return to action.
Lumley joined Blackpool in January after Ingram’s season-long loan at Northampton ended early.
Lumley has made two first-team appearances for QPR and has also had loan spells at Bristol Rovers, Stevenage, Accrington and Morecambe.
Meanwhile, Rangers manager Ian Holloway has urged fans not to invade the pitch after Saturday’s final home match of the season.
