QPR marked the 100th anniversary of the club’s first match at Loftus Road by beating Ipswich. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 2-1 win.
Had little to do all game and then could do nothing about the Ipswich goal.
A third central defender when the R’s were without the ball, a right full-back when they had it; the summer signing showed his versatility with aplomb. Baptiste’s passing range should also not go unrecognised – he started several Rangers attacks with nicely lofted balls forward.
Playing his 200th game for the club, Onuoha gave nothing away all afternoon in a calm and assured performance.
Solid and dependable in an unusual position for the full-back, who operated in a more central role.

A workmanlike performance from the Pole, whose persistence was rewarded with a smart assist for Jamie Macke’s opener.
A solid shield for the R’s backline, but Scowen was also not afraid to get forward. Another really impressive display.

A very strong performance from the Australian, combining pressing, tackling and neat footwork in a solid all-round display. He was unlucky not to score with a fine long-range strike that was well saved by Bartosz Bialkowski.
Constantly busy and full of tricks, twists and turns. Freeman stung the palms of Bialkowski on a couple of occasions, before finding the back of the net with from 18 yards – a goal he made out of nothing – early in the second half.
A typically tidy performance from the left wing-back, who was rarely fully threatened.

Never one to shy away from a battle, Mackie enjoyed a fierce tussle with Callum Connolly as he stuck close to the R’s left-hand side. His tenacity was rewarded with the first goal – a smart finish into the bottom corner from Wszolek’s low cross.
Washington failed to find the back of the net again, but not for the want of trying. QPR’s number nine forced a trio of saves out of Bialkowski with good strikes and he was a menace to the Ipswich central defensive pairing throughout.
Brought on for the final 15 minutes and nearly scored on his debut, but he dragged his shot wide.
Almost scored with his first touch after a calamitous mix-up in the Ipswich defence, having just arrived on the pitch with Kazenga LuaLua for the final 10 minutes.

Luongo was the best player on the pitch by a country mile. Freeman had a great game as well. How you can give Mackie the same rating as Luongo is beyond me.
A very good 3 points well done You Rrrrsssssss
