Mark Hughes described QPR’s first-half display at Blackburn as “unacceptable” following his side’s 3-2 loss at Ewood Park.
Rangers were three down at half-time after a dismal defensive performance and Jamie Mackie’s second-half goals could not save them from a defeat against Hughes’ former club.
“You can’t give any Premier League team a three-goal start. The first half was unacceptable,” said R’s boss Hughes, whose team now have a two-week break before a derby at home to another of his former sides, Fulham.
“We were very poor in that first half. It was arguably the worst we’ve played since I came in,” he added
“We will take some comfort though from the second half, because I thought that we completely dominated it.”
