QPR chairman Tony Fernandes says Alejandro Faurlin’s comeback will be like another big-money signing for the club.
Faurlin, who missed the second half of last season after suffering cruciate damage, is closing in on a return to action.
The Argentine midfielder has been given the all-clear to join the squad for Rangers’ pre-season trip to Asia and remains on course to be available for the start of the new campaign.
Fernandes declared: “It’s exciting. Mark Hughes hasn’t been with Ale because he’s been injured since Mark came to us.
“He’s coming back now though and that to us is like a £15m player that we’ve just signed.”
