Rio Ferdinand is set to resume training this week after a minor groin problem.
The QPR defender was unavailable for Saturday’s game against Burnley, where Rangers’ 2-1 defeat saw them slip back into the bottom three.
Ferdinand is expected to be back in the squad for this weekend’s game against his former club Manchester United at Loftus Road.
Rangers are also hoping that Sandro will step up his training this week as the Brazilian midfielder works his way back to fitness following his latest knee problem.
