Rio Ferdinand and Steven Caulker made their debuts for QPR as their pre-season trip to Germany ended with a 2-0 loss to RB Leipzig.
Ferdinand played the first half and Caulker the second, while Matt Phillips and Jack Collison were also involved.
Winger Phillips made his first appearance since being sidelined by an ankle injury in February and midfielder Collison, who recently left West Ham, has been training with the R’s.
Rani Kherdira, younger brother of Germany’s World Cup star Sami, hit the bar with a free-kick before the interval and Yussuf Poulsen scored twice in the second half.
Poulsen beat the QPR offside trap to race away from Richard Dunne and open the scoring before doubling his side’s lead with a cool finish following some sloppy defending.
At the other end, keeper Benjamin Bellot kept out Shaun Wright-Phillips’ shot and Frankie Sutherland’s far-post header.
