Fenerbahce announce signing of QPR’s Osayi-Samuel
Turkish side Fenerbahce have announced Bright Osayi-Samuel will join them at the end of the season on a four-year contract.
Rangers have been trying to get the winger to commit his future to the club for over a year, with his contract due to expire at the end of the current campaign.
The 23-year-old had looked set to join Belgian side Club Brugge in a deal worth £4.7m at the end of last season after Rangers accepted an offer.
However, after flying out to meet club officials Osayi-Samuel rejected the move.
But late on Friday night the Istanbul side, who are currently second in the Turkish Super Lig, trailing bitter rivals Besiktas on goal difference and in the hunt for Champions League football, announced Osayi-Samuel had agreed terms.

Rangers will be due a compensation payment unless the two clubs agree a fee.

750k !!!!…give me a 10th of that and I will find you another youngster as good as BOS within 4 weeks. They are everywhere in the lower and even non – leagues just waiting for the chance. still not sure why the club have not made major in roads into the NW London estates of stonebridge, church end, st rapheals and kilburn !. should also be looking at local non league youth set ups…get rid of bos now

I agree with Eddie – this stinks, 6 months left on his contract and off he goes, behind everyones back and lines his pockets. Whats the point of having contracts then? I wouldnt even bother chasing £750K, just let him clear off now, as Eddie has said, let him get all the abuse over there, or play him in every game going ’til season ends. Loyalty at its best.

Leave him in the u23’s for the rest of the season! 100%.
It has been suggested that the club were not even aware of this agreement being signed and if that is true then it’s a disgrace on behalf of BOS.
In my opinion, Bright has not yet even reached half the potential that he could achieve and I fear he has made a bad move moving to Turkey.
The recent awful abuse he suffered on social media will be like a drop in the ocean to the levels of racism he will meet in Turkish football stadiums…I just hope he has no plans for his friends and family to attend games!
Being a ‘free ‘ agent will obviously mean he gets a large fee to sign which I think would have swayed his decision but being around 23 years old there would have been ample more time to make plenty of money rather than jump at the first large signing on fee.
Let’s be honest, Bright’s performance levels this season have been sporadic compared to last season which is no doubt in relation to the fact he knew you were jumping ship to join sooner rather than later which is an insult to those who have supported the club for generations.
While he has been getting paid looking at the approaching Turkish horizon, ‘us’ supporters are struggling to pay our bills.
Better players have come and left but very few have used this route against us where the club is left with no financial recompense for years of investment and good wages.
I am not happy about the way this appears to have been a pre-meditated intention over a long period of time, but i would be far happier if you just left now…instead of staying and taking more wages and playing at 50% until your contract ends!…enough already!.
I will drive him to the airport, or will he be taking the private jet again?

He needs to play 90 minutes of every game to season end

Good riddance – but it could have been SO different.
