Fabio injury being assessed by United
Fabio has had his hamstring problem assessed by Manchester United’s medical staff.
The Brazilian defender, who is on a season-long loan at QPR, has been sidelined for the last six weeks.
He is expected to return to London after undergoing a scan, with Rangers manager Mark Hughes still hopeful he will soon be available for selection.
Hughes said: “He’ll have a scan to see if it’s continuing to improve, which we anticipate it will do.
“Then after that we’ll hopefully get the green light to get him back training and then into the squad.
“We’re being guided by the people who are looking at him and are hopeful that once he gets re-scanned he’ll be available.”
Fabio, 22, has made only four league appearances since arriving from Old Trafford, the last of which came during the west London derby against Chelsea on 15 September.
