The Football Association have written to QPR asking for their comments about a tweet from chairman Tony Fernandes in which he branded referee Michael Oliver “blind”.
Fernandes made his disgust clear after Oliver controversially awarded Aston Villa a penalty in Sunday’s 1-1 draw and failed to award Rangers a spot-kick despite a clear handball by defender Alan Hutton.
However, it is understood that no further action will be taken against the club.
Meanwhile, Martin Rowlands has agreed a loan move to Wycombe – the club that rejected him as a youngster.
Rowlands, an outcast at Rangers for over a year, has joined the Chairboys for three months after recovering from a hamstring problem.
The move sees the 32-year-old reunited with Wycombe’s ex-R’s manager Gary Waddock and former Loftus Road team-mate Gareth Ainsworth.
He is expected to make his debut for the League One side against Preston on Tuesday.
Rowlands was on Wycombe’s books as a teenager but was released by their then manager John Gregory, who told him he would not make it as a professional footballer. He later played under Gregory at QPR.
