Dundee want QPR’s Larkeche on loan

QPR left-back Ziyad Larkeche is being lined up for a loan move to Scottish side Dundee.

The 21-year-old Frenchman, who was previously at Fulham, returned to west London to join Rangers last summer after leaving Barnsley.

However, he started only three league matches and ended the season behind both Kenneth Paal – who is wanted by Watford – and Morgan Fox in the pecking order.

Dundee are among clubs to have expressed an interest in him and a deal appears to be close.

Meanwhile, Marti Cifuentes has suggested QPR need to sign more attacking players – and admits there is a “big question mark” over whether Ilias Chair will play for the R’s against West Brom in their first match of the new campaign.

And Lyndon Dykes is being assessed after going off injured during Saturday’s pre-season friendly at Reading.
