QPR lose at Derby but are safe

QPR were beaten by two injury-time goals at Pride Park but are safe from relegation.
Harry Wilson scored from the penalty spot before adding a second for the Rams, but Rotherham’s home defeat against Birmingham means Rangers cannot go down.
They had their moments against Frank Lampard’s side, with a stretching Tomer Hemed just unable to get the a decisive touch to Bright Osayi-Samuel’s low cross and substitute Matt Smith heading narrowly wide.
Rangers keeper Joe Lumley pushed a shot from Mason Mount on to the post and almost got to Wilson’s 94th-minute penalty after Luke Freeman had fouled Jayden Bogle.
Wilson sealed the Rams’ win with a goal on the counter-attack.
QPR: Lumley, Wszolek, Furlong, Cameron, Manning, Freeman, Scowen, Luongo, Osayi-Samuel (Eze 82), Hemed (Smith 73), Wells (Walker 90).
Subs not used: Ingram, Shodipo, Phillips,Tilt.

As far as the pen goes, it might be shocking, but Freeman didn’t have to do it–make the forward play–they’re mostly crap anyway. We have given so many pens and free kicks away–and this one was symptomatic of the whole season–another ball over the top causing chaos in the back.

Acsrjjp – are we related ‘cos I was thinking long similar lines. For what we have to offer (zilch) we could do a lot worse than sticking with John Eustace, but that would be too easy for this management, they would rather take on another flybynight who couldnt care less about the club and more about their back pocket. Lets see who finally gets the hot seat (its taking them long enough) and the composition of next years squad, could be very interesting indeed.

we’ll be alright, we have fernandes at right back (in the office) bhatia with the magic sponge,ferdinand directing the footie, hoo’s checking the ground to see if we are still here, can’t name the manager yet in case we ALL know and poor old Eustace will be patted on the back and told to Piss Off. Well done you Rs you’ve let us the fans down yet again.

We still haven’t sorted contracts for Bidwell and Pav. If we lose them, Wells and Hemmed go back and we sell Freeman, we have no chance next year. Forget the journeymen managers we are being linked with, get a Lampard or Gerard who has no experience but access to a big clubs youth players.

So now we know we are safe for yet another season of mediocrity at best.
Senior Management should hang their heads in shame. We have a new training ground on the horizon, then there’s the new stadium – all pie in the sky without players to match.
