Baptiste back in QPR squad for Sunderland game
Alex Baptiste has been passed fit to return to the QPR squad for this weekend’s game against Sunderland.
The defender was unavailable for Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Derby because of illness but has since returned to training.
Idrissa Sylla has also trained this week but is not yet fit enough to return to action.
Sylla, who has been struggling with a calf problem, has been pencilled in to play for Rangers’ development side next week.
Jamie Mackie hopes to return from a back injury before the end of the campaign but Grant Hall and David Wheeler are out for the rest of the season.
A win at Loftus Road on Saturday would take QPR 15 points clear of Sunderland, who are currently bottom of the Championship table.
