Crystal Palace are set to make QPR an offer for Ebere Eze.
Palace have long been tracking Eze and will place a bid for the 22-year-old forward.
It is unlikely to be close to the asking price - Rangers are looking for at least £20m.
Eze has been linked with several clubs but, until West Ham recently indicated they were looking to agree to deal to sign him, the only concrete interest had been from Palace.
However, several Premier League clubs have now made enquiries about Eze.
It seems at this stage that opening offers are likely to be around the £12m mark.
QPR will hope for a bidding war between clubs in which that sum climbs significantly.
Palace have also been considering matching Club Brugge’s offer for Bright Osayi-Samuel, but have so far not done so.
Osayi-Samuel has been mulling over a move to the Belgian outfit, who had £4.7m bid for him accepted, having previously offered QPR £3m for him.
The winger has a year remaining on his contract and has rejected offers of an improved deal.
As for Eze, there is every expectation he will be playing in the top flight next season.
Rangers recently signed George Thomas and have made enquiries about a number of other attacking players, including Chelsea’s Izzy Brown and former Fulham man Muamer Tanković, who is currently a free agent.
