Palace and Brighton monitor QPR’s Eze
Crystal Palace and Brighton have checked on QPR youngster Ebere Eze.
Palace sporting director Dougie Freedman and Brighton scout Ian Pearce were at Loftus Road to see Rangers beat Norwich 4-1 on Monday.
They were there primarily to watch Norwich’s highly-rated midfielder James Maddison but were also keen to take a look at Eze, having heard good things about the teenage forward.
Eze, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Wycombe, scored QPR’s third goal against the Canaries.
Rangers manager Ian Holloway praised Eze and Matt Smith after the victory.
