QPR receive offers for Simpson and Traore
QPR have received an offer from Leicester for Danny Simpson, while Crystal Palace have made a bid for Armand Traore.
Rangers have indicated they are willing to let Simpson go following their recent signing of Chile wing-back Mauricio Isla on a season-long loan from Juventus.
Neil Warnock, who recently returned for a second spell as Palace boss, signed Traore for Rangers in 2011 and has made a move to sign him after QPR indicated that the Senegal international is available.
Signed from Newcastle just over a year ago, Simpson, 27, was a key player for the R’s as they won promotion from the Championship last season.
He made 34 league appearances and was an ever-present for them before suffering a back injury which kept him out for several weeks.
Traore, 24, signed a new contact at Loftus Road only weeks ago and was seen as ideal for a wing-back role in the 3-5-2 formation favoured by boss Harry Redknapp.
But QPR will offload the injury-plagued former Arsenal man if a deal can be agreed with Palace ahead of the approaching transfer deadline.
