Campbell close to completing Hull move
Hull City are close to completing the signing of DJ Campbell from QPR.
The striker, who played under Tigers boss Steve Bruce at Birmingham, is also wanted by Crystal Palace.
Several other Championship clubs have expressed an interest in Campbell since he recently scored 10 goals in 17 appearances while on loan at Ipswich.
Campbell, 31, joined QPR in 2011 after a successful spell at Blackpool under Palace’s former Rangers manager Ian Holloway.
He was unable to make an impact at Loftus Road and was hampered by injuries for much of last season.
Holloway was keen to be reunited with him at Selhurst Park but on Wednesday afternoon Campbell appeared set to link up with Bruce despite some wrangling over personal terms.
