QPR remain 20th in the Championship table, just three points above the relegation zone, after losing 3-0 at Brighton. Here’s how we rated the Rangers players in their sixth consecutive defeat.
A rare mistake for Brighton’s third goal, when he allowed the ball to squirm through him.
Given the runaround by Solly March. Definitely a performance to forget.
Unfairly dismissed but he was having a really poor game. Badly at fault for the opening goal, allowing Sam Baldock to turn away from him with ease, and was caught out on several other occasions.
Not exactly convincing either, but Hall did manage to win a fair share of challenges and dealt with a number of balls into the box. He was, though, slow to react in the build up to the foul which resulted in Onuoha’s sending off.
Tried hard to make things happen going forward and had his hands full defensively because of the lack of cover from Yeni Ngbakoto.
Rangers’ most effective midfielder. He was caught out a few times but also tracked back well and was alert to danger.
Is still waiting for his first QPR goal, having been denied by a good save and sent another effort over. Tried to contribute around both boxes – too much so, as his over-eager challenge conceded a penalty and led to the second goal.
Struggled in midfield and seemed to be affected by a knock before eventually going off late in the game.
Not blessed with great technique but worked hard. Can deliver a ball but Brighton denied him the room to do so.
Highly effective for parts of the first half in the sense that the positions he took up worried Brighton’s defence and offered good support to lone striker Idrissa Sylla. But once the home side took control that changed and the ease with which Bruno was repeatedly able to get away from Ngbakoto on the flank will have tested boss Ian Holloway’s patience.
Definitely made his presence felt up front. Had a couple of attempts on goal and his movement was good, but there wasn’t enough.
Looked lively after coming on, as you would expect. Beaten for the third goal though.
