Bowen hits back at reports of QPR rift

Assistant manager Mark Bowen has insisted there is no dressing room rift at QPR.

Bowen was placed in caretaker charge for the 3-1 loss against Manchester United after boss Mark Hughes was sacked on Friday.

Rangers produced an improved performance at Old Trafford, where they took the lead through Jamie Mackie.

Their defeat means they remain bottom of the table and without a league win this season, but Bowen said: “The lads worked well as a unit.”

He added: “People have written and said a lot over the past few weeks but I can tell you there’s a genuine belief that this club will stay up.

“The players are hurting at the moment – they’re angry – but talk of dressing room unrest is completely wide of the mark.”

  • How can you defend Hughes farcical time at Qpr. To sign a bunch of has been crocs with history of injuries yet bringing them in in their 30's plus is a joke. Buying players with no thought where they will fit in & blatantly ignoring a defensive or striking option when that is the problem. Can't blame him for helping himself to a few million quid but hope you can sleep at night knowing the plight you have put this club in. Haven't got a clue back room staff included. Sooner they go the better. Thank The Lord for Harry, he won't put up with money grabbing egotistical has beens.
Fact 10 months 17 away losses & 2 draws. No win in 13 so far this season and he thinks we are in a better position. I guess they should all wait at the bottom of their chimneys waiting for Santa to arrive. Good riddance to the whole Hughes bankers.
Finally someone put SWP out of our misery!
