QPR boss Mark Hughes will delay naming his team to face West Brom today in order to give Jamie Mackie and Bobby Zamora every chance to prove their fitness.
Mackie picked up a knock against Swansea in midweek, while Zamora is nursing a knee problem.
Both players will be assessed before the game at The Hawthorns and Hughes is hopeful they will be able to play, but says he will have no qualms about selecting the likes of Jay Bothroyd if need be.
Djibril Cisse is suspended, while DJ Campbell and particularly Heidar Helguson are being carefully monitored following their recent injury problems.
“Jay’s available and is motivated and ready to play if called upon,” said Hughes, who has included Armand Traore in his squad following the player’s recovery from a hamstring strain.
