Lee Wallace and Osman Kakay could return to the QPR squad for Saturday’s game against Wycombe.
Both defenders are back in training following their respective injuries, but neither are being considered for Tuesday’s visit to Luton.
Rangers manager Mark Warburton said: “They’re getting there. They’re on the grass working.
“They’re very close. Wycombe could be a potential for one or both. We’ll see how this week’s training goes.”
Meanwhile, Warburton has confirmed that Rangers are “very close” to finalising deal to bring in centre-back Jordy de Wijs from Hull City.
The Dutchman's arrival will pave the way for Conor Masterson to leave on loan.
