Boss suggests Samba is out of QPR’s reach
QPR manager Mark Hughes has suggested that the club are unlikely to sign Chris Samba when the transfer window opens in January.
Hughes tried to capture the defender, 28, in the summer but Samba opted to join big-spending Anzhi Makhachkala.
With Samba believed to be unsettled in Russia, Rangers are expected to make another attempt to bring him to west London.
But Hughes said: “He’s at a club where I’d imagine he’s paid a substantial amount of money and that may take him out of the equation.”
