Sebastian Polter has been included in the QPR squad for their trip to face Huddersfield, while Massimo Luongo could also return.
Striker Polter, who has been nursing a gluteal muscle problem, was substituted at half-time against Blackburn at the weekend and did not feature in Tuesday’s 6-0 hammering by Newcastle.
But the German has returned to full training and is available for Saturday’s match against the Championship leaders.
Luongo, meanwhile, missed the Blackburn and Newcastle games because of illness but now appears to have recovered.
Rangers will be without James Perch at Huddersfield after he was stretchered off with knee injury in midweek.
Perch is due to undergo scan on Friday afternoon and is expected to face a long spell on the sidelines.
