Boost for QPR ahead of Everton game

QPR defender Luke Young has returned to training and looks likely to be available for Saturday’s game against Everton.

Young, who has been out with a hamstring problem, will have a fitness test ahead of the match and manager Mark Hughes is optimistic the player will rejoin the squad.

“He has trained this week and we will assess that one. The signs are good,” Hughes confirmed.

Fitz Hall has also returned to training but is unlikely to be considered this weekend.

It is hoped that striker DJ Campbell will train next week following his hamstring injury.
