Rovers buy Orr and Connolly joins Royals

Defender Bradley Orr has left QPR to join Blackburn.

Orr has moved for an undisclosed fee and has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract at Ewood Park.

Rangers made the 29-year-old available after deciding he was not in their long-term plans.

He had lost his place in their team to Luke Young and was pushed further down the pecking order by the recent signing of Nedum Onuoha from Manchester City.

So to was Matt Connolly, who will spend the rest of the season on loan at Championship side Reading.
