Blackburn reject approach from QPR for Bennett

Blackburn have rejected an approach from QPR for midfielder Elliott Bennett.

The two clubs appear to be far apart in their valuation of the 28-year-old and Rangers do not currently plan to make another approach.

R’s boss Ian Holloway recently signed Josh Scowen but wants to add another midfielder to his squad. Bennett is one of a number of possible signings to have been identified.

Bennett joined Blackburn from Norwich in January 2016 and has a year remaining on his contract at Ewood Park.
