Bircham rejects Nottingham Forest job offer
Marc Bircham has rejected an approach to take over as director of football at Nottingham Forest.
The QPR youth coach, who made more than 150 appearances as an R’s player, was offered the role at the Championship club, where former Loftus Road chairman Gianni Paladini has recently been involved in an advisory capacity.
Forest remain interested in appointing Bircham but have so far been told he is keen to stay put.
Bircham has been asked to manage a newly created development squad at QPR as part of major changes to the club’s structure.

Ridiculous story IMO as a Forest fan. The fact I’m reading it proves the usual lack of press info coming out of City Ground. Hopefully things will change under the new regime at NFFC. But definitely agree Birch is QPR through and through

Not a chance turned down premier league clubs when he signed on as a player in league 1. Couldn’t imagine him not wanting to be around to see the new training ground and stadium. Lets be honest if he wasn’t on the coaching staff he’d be in the stands with us. No disrespect to forest and i hope they can make it back to the prem fantastic club with great history but birch is a Ranger

Seems a little odd this story when the Al Fasawis have come out twice, once to our OS and then live on SSN to say Paladini has nothing to do with them whatsoever?
We could well have made a move for Bircham but it certainly doesn’t have anything to do with GP.
