QPR lost 3-1 to Austria Vienna in a pre-season friendly on Friday evening.
The home side went ahead midway through the first half courtesy of an own goal by Yoann Barbet, who featured along with fellow recent signings Luke Amos, Liam Kelly, Dom Ball and Conor Masterson.
Following a challenge in the penalty area by Grant Hall, the ball ricocheted of Barbet and into the net.
Josh Scowen equalised just before the interval after being set up by Darnell Furlong’s cross, but the home side scored twice more in the second half.
Rangers’ other new arrivals, Matt Smith and Lee Wallace, missed the match after picking up injuries.
The game rounded off QPR’s trip to Austria and Mark Warburton’s side will next be in action in a friendly at Boreham Wood on Tuesday.
