Traore having treatment for back problem
Armand Traore is undergoing treatment for a back problem and is a doubt for QPR’s game against Birmingham this weekend.
The former Arsenal man was hurt towards the end of Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Leeds – a match he featured in after passing a fitness test – but played on because Rangers had used their three substitutions.
A trapped nerve is causing pain in his leg as well as back, and his condition will be assessed in the next 48 hours.
Traore has been in good form of late, having previously been out of favour under manager Harry Redknapp.
Rangers are also hoping that Niko Kranjcar and Gary O’Neil shake off injuries before Saturday’s match.
