Worcester City manager John Snape has told Worcester News he believes new QPR coach Matt Gardiner can reach the Premier League.
Gardiner, who was appointed by the R’s last week, worked with Snape at Worcester before moving to Kidderminster, where he was part of John Eustace’s coaching staff.
Eustace recently left his job as Kidderminster manager to become assistant boss at QPR and has been joined at Loftus Road by Gardiner, who has come in as assistant coach.
“I’m over the moon for Matt,” said Snape.
“His dedication to his job has seen him reach the Football League and I can only see him pushing on from there.
“He is a very determined and hard-working coach, he may come across in a very pleasant manner but believe me, he is focused and has an unbelievably ruthless edge.”
