Ainsworth snaps up QPR youngster on loan
Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth has signed QPR youngster Eberechi Eze on loan until January.
A number of clubs expressed an interest in the 19-year-old but former R’s star Ainsworth has snapped him up.
Eze made his one and only first-team appearance for Rangers in January’s FA Cup defeat by Blackburn Rovers, but lasted just 18 minutes before he limped off with injury.
The day before his debut he signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal with the club.
Eze, who joined Rangers from Millwall in August 2016, was previously on the books of Fulham.
He scored a hat-trick for QPR’s development side in a 4-1 win over Hull City earlier this month.
