Harry Redknapp has insisted that QPR are not interested in a cut-price deal for Adel Taarabt.
The Moroccan ended last season on loan at AC Milan and is desperate to join them on a permanent basis.
Reports in Italy have suggested Milan are planning to offer Rangers £3m for Taarabt, who was signed from Tottenham – then managed by Redknapp – in 2010 following two loan spells at Loftus Road.
Redknapp says Taarabt has not trained ahead of the new season, that the 25-year-old is determined to move on and in any case would not be fit enough to play Premier League football were he to stay.
The Rangers boss said: “I don’t know what’s happening with Adel. He hasn’t done a day’s training since we’ve been back. He’s miles away from being fit to play at the moment.
“I think he’s fit to train this week, but I think wants to move. But if he doesn’t want to be here then someone’s got to pay the money. He’s not going to go cheap.”
Taarabt, the star of QPR’s promotion-winning campaign of 2010-11, made 14 league appearances for Milan last term, scoring four goals.
He started the season on loan at Fulham but failed to impress for the Whites, who wanted to send him back but Redknapp was not keen for him to return.

They should get rid of him at any price because if they leave it much longer, who will want him???????? For all his skill, I wouldn't want him in my pub side.
