Super 8 leaders in town as Brentford hosts volleyball festival

An all-day festival of volleyball takes place at Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre on Saturday, centred around IBB Polonia London’s next home game.

The defending men’s Super 8 national champions play host to unbeaten league leaders Team Northumbria at 3pm.

Before that, the club’s women’s team – Polonia SideOut – will take on Northumbria’s women, who are also top of their Super 8 table, at 12.30pm.

Fans attending will be able to enjoy plenty of fun around the two matches.

“The next game will not be one of the easier ones,” said IBB Polonia London captain Dorian Poinc.

“We know the opponent is very demanding, but we play at home, with the support of our amazing fans. For that reason I would like to invite everybody to come and support us.

“I hope we can count on huge numbers of spectators who become the ‘seventh player on court’ who will help us win.”
