Gould bows out of Welsh Open in fourth round

Martin Gould suffered a 4-1 defeat against Ben Woollaston in the fourth round of the Welsh Open.

The world number 15 levelled at 1-1 after Leicester cueman Woollaston opened with a break of 78 to take the first frame.

But Gould, who had beaten Adam Duffy, Jack Lisowski and Matthew Stevens to reach the last 16, was unable to find his best form and lost the next three frames.

Gould, won his first ranking title earlier this month, at the German Masters.
