Baker granted freedom of Hillingdon
Paralympic double gold medallist Natasha Baker has been granted the freedom of the borough of Hillingdon in recognition of her triumph at the London Games.
The 22-year-old equestrian star, who was born in Hammersmith and lives in Uxbridge, achieved record scores in the Grade II individual championship and freestyle dressage.
She attended a special council meeting at Uxbridge’s Civic Centre to accept the prestigious honour.
There is also a gold-coloured postbox in Uxbridge High Street commemorating her success.
