Rajiv Ouseph maintained his impressive form at the Commonwealth Games to take Team England towards the knockout phase of the mixed team event.
Hounslow’s Ouseph defeated Alexander Hutchings 21-8, 21-8 to help his country to a 5-0 win over Jersey.
On Thursday, he had beaten Tony Stephenson for the loss of just 14 points as England whitewashed Northern Ireland.
He and his team-mates will face Mauritius on Saturday in the final match of the group stage.
Ouseph’s men’s singles campaign stars on Tuesday with a first round match against 15-year-old Chongo Mulenga of Zambia.
