Hounslow badminton star Rajiv Ouseph went out in the quarter-finals of the Bitburger Open in Germany after losing to Wang Zhengming for the second time in a week.
Having recently been beaten by the Chinese youngster in the French Open, sixth seed Ouseph went down 21-13 21-16.
The British champion had secured his place in the last eight in Saarbrucken with a 21-15 21-14 victory over France’s Mathieu Lo Ying Ping in the third round.
Earlier in the week, he won a first-round match against Sebastien Bourbon – also of France – before knocking out Malaysian Chiang Jiann Shiarng.
