Hounslow’s Rajiv Ouseph missed out on a place in the men’s singles quarter-finals of the All England Championships in Birmingham, losing to Kento Momota of Japan.
Ouseph was beaten 21-15 21-10 by the 2012 world junior champion, who will face top seed Lee Chong Wei in the last eight.
The Londoner pulled off a big upset in the first round, knocking out seventh seed Du Pengyu of China.
