Feltham’s Rajiv Ouseph took just 25 minutes to book a third-round place at the Bitburger Open in Saarbrucken on Wednesday.
The world number 23, seeded fifth for this tournament, beat Petr Koukal of the Czech Republic 21-13 21-15.
It followed up his 21-14 21-6 victory over Finland’s Ville Lang in the opening round on Tuesday.
Ouseph will face 16th seed B. Sai Praneeth, of India, in the next round at 4.45pm GMT on Thursday.
