Wealdstone have brought defender Carl Martin back to the club as their first summer signing since promotion.
The 27-year-old rejoins the Stones after two years in the Conference Premier with Macclesfield Town.
Martin began his career at Wealdstone, emerging from the club’s youth set-up to make his name in the first team before stepping up into the Football League with Crewe Alexandra in 2009.
He played in 37 League Two games for the Railwaymen before moving to Macclesfield, making a further 32 appearances in non-League football’s top flight.
Stones boss Gordon Bartlett said: “I am delighted with Carl’s signing because he is a strong, experienced professional who is comfortable on the ball and can play in numerous positions.
“He has come full circle after being involved with us as a young player, coaching in our scholarship scheme while playing in our first team before he signed for Crewe.
“He is exactly the type of player and character we have been looking for as we prepare for our new challenge in the Conference South.”
