Stones clinch play-off spot as Hampton & Richmond go down
Wealdstone clinched a place in the Ryman Premier play-offs with a 3-1 victory at home to Concord Rangers, while Hampton & Richmond’s relegation from Conference South was sealed despite them winning 2-0 at Thurrock.
Wealdstone made the perfect start, with Alex Dyer putting them ahead after only 30 seconds.
Richard Jolly (pictured above) netted his 48th goal of the season and Scott Fitzgerald also found the net.
It means the Ruislip-based club finish fourth in the table and will be away to Lowestoft Town in a one-legged play-off semi-final next week.
Meanwhile, Hendon won 7-1 at Aveley but still missed out on the play-offs.
